SCED Business Loan Program
SCED’s financing program is designed to accommodate Shasta, Siskiyou, Modoc, and Trinity County businesses with loans of all sizes for all kinds of needs.
SCED’s loans prepare businesses to grow, expand, create jobs and strengthen our regional economy.
Loans up to $250,000 to purchase an existing business, machinery and equipment, inventory, land and buildings.
Applicant must be an established for-profit business, demonstrate the ability to repay the loan from business profits and must prove the capacity to create or retain jobs.

Could a business loan from SCED be right for me?
If You Have:
Historical business earnings
Well-founded revenue projections
A solid business plan with complete financials
Acceptable credit history
But You Do Not Qualify for a Conventional Loan Due To:
Minor historical credit issue
Short length of time in business
Small loan amount requested
Qualifications for a Business Loan:
Be located in Shasta, Siskiyou, Modoc, or Trinity Counties
Be for profit
Demonstrate the ability to repay the loan from business-generated profits
Create or retain jobs with the loan funds
